This Policy is designed for a global entertainment service that offers optional membership subscriptions, including reduced advertising interruptions and download access for supported titles. Our current privacy practices are limited to streaming, account, subscription, support, analytics, advertising, and security operations connected with those services.

2. Categories of Information We May Collect

Depending on how you use OrvellaTV, we may collect account information, contact information, device information, identifiers, usage data, subscription status, payment confirmation data received from app stores or payment processors, customer support records, diagnostics, approximate region information, and content interaction data such as playback events, watch progress, search or browsing activity within the app, download status for supported titles, and preference signals.

We do not intentionally require sensitive personal information to provide ordinary streaming functions. You should not send us government identification numbers, health information, biometric data, precise financial account credentials, or other highly sensitive information through customer support unless specifically requested for a lawful and necessary purpose.

3. Sources of Information

We may collect information directly from you when you create an account, manage profile settings, contact support, purchase or manage a membership, or interact with app features. We may also collect information automatically from your device and app activity, including technical logs, crash reports, playback diagnostics, network status, device model, operating system version, app version, language setting, time zone, advertising or app identifiers where permitted, and usage events necessary to operate and improve the Service.

We may receive limited transaction status, subscription entitlement, renewal, cancellation, refund, and purchase validation information from Apple App Store, Google Play, or other authorized billing platforms. We generally do not receive your full payment card number from those platforms.

4. Purposes for Processing Information

We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve OrvellaTV; authenticate accounts; enable playback; remember watch progress; support downloads for eligible titles; verify membership status; reduce advertising interruptions for eligible members; process customer support requests; prevent fraud and misuse; troubleshoot technical issues; measure service performance; comply with legal obligations; enforce our Terms of Use; and communicate service-related notices.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to analyze content performance, app stability, feature adoption, and general business operations. Aggregated or de-identified information is not intended to identify you personally and may be used for lawful analytics, reporting, and product planning.

5. Legal and Commercial Basis for Use

We process information where reasonably necessary to perform our agreement with you, provide requested streaming functions, manage membership benefits, comply with app store obligations, maintain safety and security, satisfy legal duties, respond to your requests, and pursue legitimate commercial interests that are not overridden by applicable consumer rights. These interests include service reliability, anti-abuse controls, subscription verification, product improvement, limited advertising measurement, and customer support quality.

Where applicable law requires consent for a specific activity, such as certain device permissions, personalized advertising signals, or marketing communications, we will seek consent through the app, device settings, platform controls, or another appropriate mechanism.

6. Advertising and Analytics

OrvellaTV may use advertising and analytics providers to measure app performance, understand usage patterns, deliver or limit advertising, detect invalid traffic, and improve the viewing experience. Non-member users may see advertising or promotional placements. Members may receive reduced advertising interruptions, but service notices, account communications, legal notices, content messages, or platform-required disclosures may still appear.

Advertising and analytics partners may process device identifiers, approximate location, app activity, ad interaction events, and technical data in accordance with their contractual obligations and applicable law. We do not authorize partners to use OrvellaTV data for unlawful discrimination, harmful profiling, or purposes inconsistent with this Policy.

7. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We may disclose information to service providers, hosting vendors, analytics providers, advertising technology providers, customer support tools, fraud prevention vendors, payment platforms, app stores, content delivery networks, professional advisers, affiliates, successors in business transactions, and government or legal authorities where required or permitted by law. Such disclosures are made for the purposes described in this Policy and subject to appropriate contractual, technical, or legal safeguards where applicable.

Because OrvellaTV is designed for global audiences, your information may be processed in countries or regions other than where you live. By using the Service, you understand that technical operation, customer support, hosting, analytics, app store verification, content delivery, and security monitoring may require cross-border processing by OrvellaTV or its service providers.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, administer membership benefits, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, maintain security, and preserve business records. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, aggregate, or securely isolate it according to our retention practices. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before routine deletion, subject to security and continuity requirements.

If you opt out of certain processing or disable permissions, some features may become unavailable or less personalized. For example, disabling certain technical permissions may affect downloads, playback stability, notifications, or support diagnostics.

During the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the categories described in this Policy, including identifiers, account information, commercial information related to subscription status, internet or electronic network activity, approximate geolocation, inferences related to app preferences, and diagnostics. We use and disclose these categories for the business and commercial purposes described above. We do not knowingly sell personal information in the traditional sense of exchanging it for money. Where you purchase a membership through an app store, that platform may process billing, tax, subscription, refund, and account data under its own terms. OrvellaTV receives only the information reasonably necessary to confirm membership status and provide related service benefits.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, app features, vendor practices, business operations, or security requirements.
