OrvellaTV Auto-Renewal Agreement

This Agreement explains how recurring membership subscriptions renew, how charges occur, and how you may cancel renewal.

1. Purpose and Binding Effect

This Auto-Renewal Agreement governs recurring subscription billing for OrvellaTV membership services. It supplements the OrvellaTV Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Membership Service Agreement, app store purchase disclosures, and any pricing or renewal information displayed at checkout. By purchasing, activating, restoring, or continuing an auto-renewing OrvellaTV membership, you agree to this Agreement and authorize recurring charges as disclosed at purchase, unless and until you cancel in accordance with the applicable cancellation process.

If you do not wish to be charged on a recurring basis, you must not purchase an auto-renewing membership, or you must cancel before the applicable renewal date through the relevant app store or authorized subscription management channel.

2. Auto-Renewing Membership Description

OrvellaTV may offer membership plans that renew automatically at the end of each subscription period. Such plans provide ongoing access to eligible membership benefits, which may include reduced advertising interruptions and download access for supported titles. The exact plan name, duration, renewal cycle, price, billing currency, tax treatment, and benefits will be shown before purchase or in the subscription management interface made available by the platform.

Auto-renewal is designed to prevent interruption of membership benefits. Unless you cancel before renewal, your plan may renew for the same duration or another duration disclosed by the platform, and the applicable charge may be billed to your selected app store account or authorized payment method.

3. Clear Purchase Authorization

Before you complete a purchase, the applicable platform or payment interface should display material subscription terms, including the subscription price, billing period, renewal nature, and cancellation channel. By confirming purchase, you authorize Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorized payment platform to charge your account for the initial subscription period and for each renewal period unless cancelled in time.

You are responsible for reviewing the purchase page, platform confirmation screen, subscription receipt, and account subscription settings. If any purchase information appears incorrect, you should stop the purchase process or contact the applicable platform before confirming payment.

4. Renewal Cycle and Charge Timing

Your subscription renews according to the billing cycle shown at checkout or in your platform subscription settings. Renewal charges may occur shortly before, on, or after the renewal date depending on platform processing rules, payment authorization timing, time zone, banking procedures, retry logic, taxes, and payment method status. We do not control every timing detail for platform-managed billing.

If your payment method fails, the platform may retry payment, request updated payment information, place the subscription in a grace period, pause access, cancel the subscription, or apply other measures according to its rules. OrvellaTV may rely on platform entitlement information to determine whether membership benefits remain active.

5. Price, Tax, and Currency

The subscription price is displayed before purchase and may include or exclude taxes depending on the platform, jurisdiction, and applicable law. Currency, tax, exchange rate, platform fee, and final payable amount may be determined by the app store or authorized payment platform. You should review the final checkout page carefully before confirming purchase.

Where permitted by platform rules and applicable law, subscription prices may change. If a price change applies to an existing auto-renewing subscription, the platform or OrvellaTV may provide notice or obtain consent where required. If you do not agree to a price change, you should cancel before the new price takes effect.

6. Cancellation Method

You may cancel auto-renewal through the subscription management tools provided by the platform through which you purchased. For Apple purchases, cancellation is generally managed through Apple account subscription settings. For Google Play purchases, cancellation is generally managed through Google Play subscriptions. For other authorized platforms, you should use the cancellation path provided by that platform.

Deleting OrvellaTV, logging out, uninstalling the app, disabling notifications, or ceasing to watch content does not necessarily cancel auto-renewal. To avoid future charges, you must complete cancellation in the appropriate subscription management interface before the renewal date specified by the platform.

7. Effect of Cancellation

Cancellation generally stops future renewal charges but does not automatically refund the current paid period. Unless the platform or applicable law states otherwise, you may continue to access paid membership benefits until the end of the current billing period after cancellation. At the end of that period, your membership benefits may expire, including reduced advertising interruptions and download access for supported titles.

Downloaded content may become unavailable after membership expiration, after the content authorization period ends, or when license, device, account, app version, security, or regional conditions no longer support offline viewing.

8. Renewal Notices and Platform Communications

You may receive renewal notices, receipts, payment confirmations, price change messages, cancellation confirmations, or subscription status communications from Apple, Google, another platform, or OrvellaTV. The availability, timing, form, and content of such notices may depend on platform rules, account settings, email validity, notification permissions, region, and applicable law.

You are responsible for keeping your platform account, email address, payment method, and notification settings current. Failure to receive a notice does not necessarily cancel a subscription or waive charges where the purchase and renewal terms were properly disclosed and authorized.

9. Refunds and Charge Disputes

Refunds for app store purchases are generally handled by the platform through which the purchase was made. OrvellaTV may not be able to issue refunds directly for transactions controlled by Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorized platform. Refund eligibility may depend on platform policy, applicable law, purchase date, usage status, technical issue, billing error, and account history.

If you believe a charge was unauthorized, duplicated, incorrectly priced, or not matched to active membership benefits, contact the relevant platform promptly and also contact us at galvostudio@163.com with non-sensitive details. Do not send full card numbers, passwords, government identifiers, or unnecessary sensitive information.

10. Trials and Promotional Renewals

If OrvellaTV offers a trial, introductory offer, promotional period, or discounted subscription, the promotional terms will be disclosed before activation where applicable. Unless otherwise stated, the subscription may automatically convert to a paid recurring subscription at the end of the trial or promotional period if you do not cancel before the conversion or renewal date.

Eligibility for trials and promotions may be limited by platform, account, region, prior subscription history, device, campaign rules, or anti-abuse controls. OrvellaTV and the relevant platform may deny, revoke, or limit promotional access in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or ineligibility.

11. Membership Benefit Continuity

Auto-renewal supports continuity of paid benefits but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of all content, downloads, quality levels, categories, subtitle options, language versions, or advertising reduction in every circumstance. Membership benefits depend on content rights, technical systems, app versions, network conditions, device compatibility, platform entitlement data, and lawful operation of the Service.

If a title is removed, download eligibility expires, advertising rules change, or a feature is modified for licensing, technical, compliance, or security reasons, the auto-renewing nature of your subscription does not create ownership or permanent access rights in that content or feature.

12. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for managing your subscription, understanding the renewal cycle, monitoring platform receipts, maintaining a valid payment method if you wish to continue, and cancelling in time if you do not wish to renew. You should not share account credentials, payment authorization tools, or platform account access in a way that enables unauthorized purchases.

If another person uses your device, account, or payment method to subscribe, you may remain responsible for the resulting charges unless applicable law or platform policy provides otherwise. You should use platform controls, device passwords, family settings, and purchase authentication tools to prevent unauthorized purchases.

13. Failed Payments, Grace Periods, and Recovery

If a renewal payment fails, your platform may apply a grace period, billing retry, account hold, payment update request, subscription pause, cancellation, or other lifecycle status. During such periods, OrvellaTV may continue, limit, suspend, or terminate membership benefits based on platform entitlement messages and our operational rules.

To restore membership access after payment failure, you may need to update your payment method, complete platform instructions, resubscribe, or contact platform support. OrvellaTV cannot guarantee restoration until valid subscription entitlement is confirmed.

14. Changes to Auto-Renewal Terms

We may update this Agreement to reflect changes in law, platform requirements, billing technology, subscription features, pricing practices, notice methods, payment operations, or service structure. The updated Agreement will be identified by a revised effective date. Where required, we may provide additional notice or seek consent before applying material changes to existing subscriptions.

If you do not agree to updated auto-renewal terms, you should cancel your subscription before the next renewal date. Continued use of an auto-renewing membership after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance, subject to mandatory legal and platform requirements.

15. Compliance With Consumer Protection Principles

OrvellaTV aims to provide clear and conspicuous subscription disclosures, obtain affirmative purchase confirmation through authorized platforms, allow cancellation through platform subscription management tools, and avoid misleading descriptions of renewal, price, cancellation, or membership benefits. We encourage you to review all renewal information before purchase and to retain receipts for your records.

Nothing in this Agreement limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection, subscription, electronic commerce, or payment laws. If a law in your jurisdiction provides additional cancellation, refund, notice, or consent rights, those rights apply to the extent required by law.

16. Suspension or Termination for Misuse

We may suspend or terminate membership benefits where there is suspected fraud, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, unauthorized account access, circumvention of subscription controls, content protection violations, unlawful conduct, or breach of the Terms of Use or Membership Service Agreement. Such action may affect access to reduced advertising interruptions, downloads, and other paid features.

Suspension or termination by OrvellaTV does not necessarily cancel platform-level renewal. If your subscription remains active in your platform account, you must cancel through that platform to prevent future charges.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OrvellaTV shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from subscription renewal, failed cancellation, platform billing operations, delayed entitlement updates, payment method issues, tax calculation, price display by a platform, or inability to access membership benefits.

Except where prohibited by law, OrvellaTV’s aggregate liability relating to auto-renewal shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected subscription period during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
